Composition
Photo composition is the art of arranging the elements of a scene in a way that creates a pleasing and harmonious visual effect. It involves choosing the right angle, perspective, focal point, lighting, and background for your subject. Some of the basic principles of photo composition are the rule of thirds, the golden ratio, leading lines, symmetry, balance, contrast, and color. By applying these principles, you can enhance the aesthetic appeal and the message of your photos.
Photography Genre
Are you getting tired of shooting the same old types of photos? Each genre has its own conventions, challenges, and aesthetic principles that photographers need to master in order to create compelling images. If you want to expand your talents, try some of these!
Adobe Photoshop
Most RAW convertors (Lightroom, Capture One, etc.) have become more feature rich over the years which translates into fewer visits to other programs to edit your photos. If you subscribe to the Adobe Photography Plan, your subscription includes Photoshop. I have found that at sometimes Lightroom just misses (or doesn't yet have that needed feature) and take that trip over to Photoshop.
